Description
An eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic based glitter. Bio-glitter ® has been developed to tackle the problem of glitter related micro plastic pollution. Completely unique, biodegradable glitter uses plant derived material as its basis rather than polyester and is the only glitter available on the market which will biodegrade into harmless substance in the natural environment.
Bio-glitter ® replaces the polyester film used in traditional glitter with cellulose from hardwoods, primarily eucalyptus sourced from responsibly managed and certified plantations operating PEFC standards.
Bio-glitter ® does not dissolve in water and is completely durable, but will biodegrade in the natural environment with the help of bacteria and other microorganisms.
