Turn a simple tin can into a beautiful nightlight with this fantastic DIY kit. The kit is straightforward to put together and takes about 10 minutes - have a quick look at the demo in our blog to get a better idea. Once assembled you use the hammer and nails provided to make holes of various sizes in the tin cans. The kit comes with 3 cans included and we sell packs of 6 cans separately. You can also recycle cans from home!
Kit includes:
2 pieces of wood, 5 screws, 1 large wooden roll and 1 large screw with a washer and butterfly screw, to build your luminaries maker base
2 clamps to fix it to a table for stability
1 hammer
2 nails of differing sizes to make the holes
3 nightlights
Set of templates to give you ideas for designs
3 tin cans
To assemble the kit you will need:
A drill, to pre-drill the holes for the screws and screw them in
A pencil, to mark out the points to drill
Tape measure or ruler, to mark the points
The instructions are currently in German but our blog details clear steps of how it works, and the images included with the instructions are also clear to follow.
