"This is without doubt one of the most beautiful wooden toy sets I’ve ever seen. The colours are absolutely stunning, with a lovely mix of rich jewel tones and natural wood that make every piece feel like a little work of art. Although he’s still very young, my 18 month old is already completely captivated by the different shapes and colours. He loves taking the pieces out, stacking them, lining them up and combining them with his other Grimm’s toys. The varied shapes make it so much more interesting than traditional building blocks, and the slightly grippy finish means they’re easy for little hands to hold and balance. What I love most is knowing this is a toy that will continue to grow with my son for many years. Right now it’s perfect for sensory exploration, stacking and open-ended play, but I can already imagine him using it for imaginative worlds, castles, villages and storytelling as he gets older. It’s a truly timeless, heirloom quality set and one of my favourite Grimm’s purchases."
