About Nanchen Blossom Baby | Lavender

The Nanchen Blossom Baby in Lavender is a beautifully soft first doll, made for little hands to hold, cuddle and carry. Lovingly crafted from pure, natural materials, the doll has a gentle warmth and comforting weight that makes it feel wonderfully special.

A lovely choice for a newborn gift, the Blossom Baby offers a gentle introduction to imaginative play, with a simple, natural design that leaves plenty of room for a child’s own stories and imagination. Made for the everyday rituals of childhood — carried, cuddled and loved along the way.

Why We Love It

• Made with care: Carefully hand-crafted s ince 1983, each Nanchen doll is made from natural materials and hand-painted so no two are quite the same — we just adore their unique little personalities!

• A gentle approach to play: Waldorf dolls are made to be simple, natural companions for children. They encourage slowing down, engaging in imaginative play, and building a deep relationship with their companion.

• A face that leaves room for feeling: A Waldorf doll’s expression is deliberately subtle, rather than full of character. This means a child can see their own feelings in their doll — happy, sad, cross or sleepy — and explore them through play.
