"These building boards are absolutely beautiful and such a versatile addition to our Grimm’s collection. The pastel colours are stunning. They’re soft, calming and aesthetically beautiful while still being engaging enough to completely capture my little boy’s attention. The quality is exceptional, with the lovely natural wood grain still visible through the colour stain. My 1 year old loves stacking them, balancing them, and I’m currently encouraging him to use them as ramps and combining them with his rainbow and loose parts. The slightly grippy texture makes such a difference for toddlers, especially compared to cheaper glossy wooden toys that slide apart and make building frustrating. The colours and texture Instantly encourage creativity and exploration without needing instructions or batteries, and they pair perfectly with other Grimm’s sets. I can already see these growing with him for years through small world play, building, balancing and imaginative setups. They’re also one of those toys that are genuinely beautiful enough to leave out on display in the home. Another incredibly well made Grimm’s product that fully lives up to the hype."
