Perfect for creative projects at home, Cera-Mix Standard Casting Plaster is an easy-to-use plaster that captures fine detail, making it ideal for creating beautiful keepsakes, nature casts and decorative crafts. Simply mix with water, pour into a mould and leave to set. Once fully hardened, it can be painted, decorated or carved to create a truly personal piece.

We especially love using it with children to make botanical castings. Press leaves, flowers or shells into modelling clay or plasticine to create a mould, then pour in the plaster. Once dry, you'll have a beautiful nature impression ready to display or paint. While the finished creations are wonderful for children to enjoy, all mixing and handling of the plaster should be carried out by an adult.

• Mixing ratio: 1kg plaster to approximately 500ml water.
• Working time: approximately 18 minutes.
• Initial drying time: approximately 30 minutes.
• Fully hardened after approximately 5 days.
• Porous surface can be carved or shaped with suitable tools once set.
• Can be painted and decorated after fully hardening.

Safety information

• For adult use only. Adult supervision is required at all times.
• Not suitable for children to mix or handle in powder form.
• Avoid breathing in plaster dust. Mix in a well-ventilated area and consider wearing a dust mask.
• Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Never pour leftover plaster down the sink, as it can harden and block drains. Allow excess plaster to set before disposing of it with household waste.
• Plaster generates heat as it sets. Never pour plaster directly onto skin or place hands or fingers into setting plaster, as this may cause burns.
