Cera-Mix Standard Casting Plaster is an easy-to-use casting plaster that captures fine detail beautifully, making it a wonderful material for creating keepsakes, nature casts and decorative crafts at home. Simply mix with water, pour into a mould and leave to set — once fully hardened, it can be painted, decorated or carved to create something truly personal.
We particularly love using it to make botanical castings with children. Press leaves, flowers or shells into modelling clay or plasticine to create a simple mould, pour in the plaster, and once dry you'll have a beautiful nature impression ready to display or paint — though all mixing and handling of the plaster should always be carried out by an adult.

Safety Information: For adult use only. Adult supervision is required at all times. Not suitable for children to mix or handle in powder form. Avoid breathing in plaster dust — mix in a well-ventilated area and consider wearing a dust mask. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Never pour leftover plaster down the sink, as it can harden and block drains — allow excess plaster to set before disposing of it with household waste. Plaster generates heat as it sets; never pour plaster directly onto skin or place hands or fingers into setting plaster, as this may cause burns.
