About Grimm's Large Rainbow | 12 Piece

The large 12 piece Rainbow, a beautiful versatile toy from Grimm's. Toddlers can start by stacking, sorting and building, while as they get older the pieces become cradles for dolls, fences, tunnels, bridges and amazing sculptures.

Materials: lime wood, non-toxic water based colour stain.

Dimensions: length 38cm, height 18cm.

This beautiful best-seller is created from one whole piece of wood and comes with various unique natural characteristics, such as: visible wood grain, knots and occasional black stripes. These are all perfectly normal. The black stripes are what is called ‘the heart of the tree’ and can become more visible as the rainbows are manufactured. There can also be occurrences of variations to the wood stain in places, as the natural oils of the wood can cause the pieces to have patchy areas. None of the above are defects. These ‘traces of nature’ are a few of the many reasons why the Grimm’s Rainbow is a one-of-a-kind toy.

"The toy that genuinely lives up to the hype. The Grimm’s Large Rainbow has become one of those pieces we reach for every single day. One minute it’s a bridge, then a tunnel, a rocking boat, a marble run, a fence for animals… the possibilities are endless. It’s definitely an investment piece, but the quality is beautiful and it’s one of the few toys that never seems to lose its magic. The wood feels lovely, the colours are vibrant without being overstimulating, and it looks gorgeous left out in the play space too. If you’re starting an open-ended toy collection, I can absolutely see why this is considered a classic."

"I have successfully managed to wrap this rainbow to Christmas without giving the game away as to what it is! The colours are beautiful. My little girl loved playing with this as her toddler group so much that I had to get her one for Christmas - I can't wait to see her face when she opens it. I also got the matching semi circles to go with it and I'm excited to see what she builds. Delivery was very quick and hassle free and packaging was great - sustainable and secure. Highly recommend!"
