About Grimm's Large Stepped Counting Blocks

Besides being inspired to build and create, these blocks provide an opportunity for children to organically discover the world of numbers. Each number can be counted by hand and a child can clearly see how two turquoise blocks are as high as one green block, two green blocks are as high as one yellow block, and so on.

A beautiful toy with longevity, young children will begin by exercising fine motor skills and spatial awareness, developing into counting and basic sums, through to an understanding of fractions and other numerical patterns.
