The Bauspiel Maxi Sparkling Stones are a gorgeous collection of jewel-like treasures that bring colour, sparkle, and a little everyday magic to sensory and imaginative play. With 24 shimmering stones across 12 beautiful colours, their faceted surfaces catch the light in the most captivating way, drawing children in and inviting them to explore, arrange, and create.
These generous-sized stones are wonderfully tactile, making them a natural fit for small world play, pattern making, colour sorting, and open-ended play of all kinds. Children might arrange them into glowing mandalas, scatter them as fairy jewels across an imaginary landscape, or use them as the finishing flourish on a building creation — the possibilities are as open as a child’s imagination.
Why We Love It
We love how these lend themselves to loose parts play, giving children the freedom to arrange, balance and create in their own way.
There’s no set purpose or right way to use them, which we think is part of their appeal. Children can take their time, try things out and see where their ideas lead.
They’re lovely to have to hand for all sorts of play, whether that’s building, creating little worlds or simply exploring what happens when different pieces come together.
