The “hidden” animals are not challenging to find for anyone at all used to “search” type books (as my children are!), but that doesn’t seem to be the main point. It’s fun to point out and learn about the animals and their habitats, and to enjoy the beautiful illustrations and the tactile qualities of the book. Works well for a wide range of ages. If hunting for the animals is your main interest, better for a younger audience."
