About Grimm's Sloping Blocks

The Colour Match Building Set is a wooden building set with a beautifully clever twist — each of the 30 blocks is slightly tilted, and only blocks of the same colour will fit together to complete a rectangle. It's a genuinely satisfying puzzle that invites children to slow down, look carefully, and think before they build.

This is the kind of toy that grows with a child. Through open-ended play, little ones naturally develop fine motor skills and spatial thinking as they explore how the blocks relate to one another. The five colour groups — blue, red, green, yellow, and purple — each share the same tilt angle, giving children a gentle sense of logic to discover entirely on their own terms.

I love Grimm's toys and I love these blocks - Great especially for Ball runs

"I love Grimm's toys and I really wish I didn't as they are very expensive but gosh are they worth it."

LOVE THE QUALITY

"As with all the Grimms items I order, these do not disappoint. I think my 5 year old is a little too young for them to use as building pieces, at the moment so keep that in mind when buying but I have enjoyed making marble runs with them. For my 5 year old I’ve got him to do colour matching with them where he looks around the room to find where I have hid them and complete each colour, forming a full block. So with them being open ended you can do a lot with them! Always worth the money!"

— Emma T. (5/5)

Perfect just what I was

"Perfect just what I was after. Love the size"
