The Bauspiel Transparent Sparkling Stones are a beautiful collection of jewel-like treasures that bring light, colour, and a little magic to sensory and imaginative play. With 24 sparkling stones across 12 vibrant colours, their transparent, faceted surfaces catch and scatter the light in a way that feels genuinely enchanting — inviting children to explore colour, shape, and the wonderful behaviour of light.
Placed on a light table or beside a sunny window, these stones truly come into their own, their translucent colours glowing and shifting as the light passes through them. Children are naturally drawn to arranging them into mandalas, using them as precious treasures in small world play, or simply holding them up to the light and watching the colours dance — a lovely, unhurried kind of open-ended play that encourages curiosity and quiet observation.
The transparent, faceted stones catch the light beautifully, making them wonderful for sensory exploration, especially on light tables where their colours can really shine.
They allow rich opportunities for sorting, matching, counting, and pattern making — the kind of playful, hands-on exploration that builds early mathematical thinking without feeling like a lesson.
Magical treasure and fairy gardens to colourful mandalas and imaginative small worlds, these stones can become anything a child imagines.
