Whittling peelers are a safe and easy way to introduce your little ones to wood carving. The blade is fixed on to a wooden handle especially designed for small hands, making it easier to use. Brilliant for stripping bark off a stick and making marshmallow toasting sticks.

"I so wanted to love these and purchased 3 for each of my children. They did initially have a lot of fun whittling but unfortunately all of them have broken within a few uses. I don’t know if we had a faulty batch but we purchased in December 2025."

"These peelers are beautiful in their aesthetic and I love how well they fit children's hands. I had batch bought on two occasions for two different outdoor establishments that I work for. Unfortunately, the peeler part comes away from the handle on every use! I spend the majority of my outdoor / Forest School sessions having to use a wooden mallet to fix all the peelers back into their handles. Such a shame. If the peeler tangs were longer, they would be far less likely to come away from the handles. A beautiful design but not robust enough - even when instructing the children to whittle as gently as possible. Corvus, please design a stronger more robust version!"
"We've only used this a few times since buying, and the metal part has come away from the wooden handle. We're having to re-affix this with gorilla glue now, which is a shame as it's a beautiful tool."
