"The horse and dolphin shapes were bought alongside some basic tools. Initially they were just used as figures for story play, however after a while they became woodwork projects, with our child working on smoothing the corners and thinking about whether or not to paint (so far they remain blank). The wood is soft enough to work, but it takes a bit of patience to sand down."
