A bit about our packaging

Packaging was top of our list when we planned the launch of Conscious Craft and we continue to review it regularly.

Our ethos is simple, all our packaging falls into 3 categories; reused, recycled and biodegradable. We often think that the impact of packaging is an issue of waste treatment but it goes beyond this. It starts from the choice of raw materials, the energy required to produce the packaging, transport, and finally disposal. So much of our domestic waste is packaging that’s why it is essential that we try to minimise our use of it.

We are delighted to have recently found a great supplier who helps us make sure all our orders are wrapped in the most sustainable, eco friendly packaging we can find. We have also been able to pass the cost savings on to you, so all orders under £70* are now just £2.49. Win win!

It is also important to us that your carefully chosen wooden toys, organic dolls and other treasures appear at your door as immaculately as we sent them, so they are a real treat to open. Occasionally, products come from our suppliers wrapped in plastic, we leave this on as extra protection.

So when you receive one of our boxes, just think that each piece of packaging has been thought about, deliberated and as little as possible used without compromising the safety of your order. It has also been lovingly hand packed by our amazing Judit, as well as Thomas, my husband and partner in Conscious Craft.
