Get ready to jump into a fun and creative crafting session with this easy-to-follow guide!
To create this eye mask you’ll need:
- wool felt in the colours of your choice, I used: natural light beige, pink, white, brown, brown mix
- Needle and thread in the colour of your felts
- Embroidery cotton
- Elastic or ribbon
Firstly download the free template I created for you and print it out. I’d highly suggest placing it over a card-stock and cutting each shape out. You can directly cut it out of felt but it is much easier if the templets shapes are cut out from card-stock.
Once all your shapes are cut you need to stitch together the owls face with the eye mask part/ pink one in my example.
Next you will need to attach the eye piece and to do that I used the peach embroidery thread and did vertical stitches to create “eyelashes” effect.
Next up we have the eyelashes or if you are creating it for your son you can skip this step, any only attach the forehead piece and the beak as per the picture below

Lastly you need to measure out a ribbon to fit your child’s head and saw it place with little stitches, and you are all done.
If you wish you can decorate the eye mask with some easy embroidery roses and leaves.
Well done, I hope you enjoyed the process.
